Sunflower hedge

Well, for now you will need to imagine that: big round flowerheads holding their faces up to the sun.  In the meantime, you can see it has potential!

I’ve added playpond balls to top off the canes for two reasons:  they are a bit bonkers and I smile everytime I see them and they are way cheaper than ‘proper’ cane toppers.

I’ve selected Moonwalker to make the hedge, they grow to between 4-5 feet.  I started the seeds off in the polytunnel and then hardened off, where they were attacked by the evil molluscs.
