As I find them, I’ll share the blogs and websites that I like to read and find useful and I might not limit myself just to my allotment self…..
First has to be My Tiny Plot. I followed this when it was a tiny allotment plot and then a small but beautifully formed vegetable garden in Bath and now a huge and well planned, soon to be gorgeous garden across the big pond. Full of inspirational photos.
I enjoy keeping up to date with John, now on his Welsh smallholding at Allotment Gardening.
My go to allotment site is always allotments4all – a great place to chat with like-minded, plant and plot mad folk – they understood the peaches!
My favorite online shopping spots for all things related are
Ebay – for things like wooden stakes, slate plant markers, polytunnels, fleece, enviromesh, debris netting etc.
Harrod Horticultural – for all the things I didn’t know I needed! Seriously, their products are excellent quality and made to last. I’m a big fan of their ‘tailored’ raised bed covers.
Gardening Naturally – The aluminium hoops are great quality and value. The clips to hold the mesh in place are pretty good too.
