This is a sensible spider. This one made a wise web design choice by not spinning across the span of the tunnel where I would walk into it and ruin his hard work. This one made use of the side arch and while I got a shock to see her hanging there, I left her to get on with lunch. She made to most of a late flying ant harvest.
That was yesterday – this morning every insect in the web has vanished and so has the spider…

🥺🥺🥺 now I quite like spiders, but that’s a specimen and a half. What a haul they have too! Wonder where they went? 👀
I know – is it better to be able to see them or not???
🤣🤣 I quite often have big spiders in the flat and I just leave them and suddenly I can’t find them again. I’ve yet to few one crawl over my face in the night, so that’s fine 🤣🤣
