Well more like armfuls but that doesn’t have the same ring to it! I have four purple sprouting broccoli plants this year, possibly two too many but I’m enjoying discovering new recipes and ways to eat it. The most recent combined the PSB with kale in a salad with borlotti beans and a lemon, garlic dressing – very yummy.
Tonight’s pairing is more traditional – liver, bacon and mashed potato.
What do you eat yours with?
I don’t normally like broccoli but I recently had tender stem broccoli and absolutely love it so I might have a go at growing it this year but it’s very expensive to buy 😕 what do you guys think

Purple sprouting broccoli/tenderstem is an entirely different taste and well worth the 10 months its in the ground. Give it a go.
