Two circuits of the park is part of Billy’s routine and I go with him as he doesn’t like crossing the main road.
During the week, this is a quick scurry to get there and back before 8am so I can rock up at work at a reasonable hour. However, at the weekend my pace is more relaxed and I have the headspace to stop and notice the fresh green shoots and flower buds. I took a few photos with my phone to share with you.
I can’t decide if Spring is on time or ahead. I think this time last year we had been visited by the Beast from the East and several inches of snow too. The weather this afternoon was variable; sun, wind, rain, hailstones and a bit of sleet for good measure.
I spend most of the afternoon in the greenhouse, where it was a very pleasant 26c

Assuming Billy is your dog he surely wouldn’t go alone if he didn’t have to cross the main road.

Well the other drawback to solo walking is that he’s never really mastered using the front door key 😉 and needs a human helper to scoop the poop! The sensible answer is that walking Billy is part of my routine that I enjoy, although work means I need to outsource it some days.
