It feels like I’m finally working the polytunnel for maximum productivity. There are autumn sown peas, broad beans and cauliflower all doing well. Carrots, lettuce and spinach are hitting their stride and today I noticed a flower on a strawberry! The early potatoes are peaking through the soil.
I’m using the space to store and start the dahlias. After last year’s disaster with damp, rotten, fungus ridden tubers, I lifted them and transplanted into a bed in the tunnel. I’ve now lifted them into pots with gritty compost – no sign of mould or rot.
It’s all looking and sounding good. xx
Thank you x
I have polytunnel envy!
😊
Oh dear. More envy from me too.
I am in love with the poly tunnel. It’s always sunny in there 😎
