It’s that time of year when the vases are full of plot grown flowers. This year there is a distinct peach tone to the arrangements.
I’m particularly pleased with the look of this vase; the White Bride and Chantilly Bronze antirrhinums are getting going as are the white dahlias Furka and the peachy Henrietta, who has grown tired of waiting for her intended partner, Cafe au Lait. The deep plum scabious where given to me as seedlings two years ago. The ammi and guara add some interesting lines. I grew the nigella Hispanica from seed and was expecting the petals to be purple but I’m quite pleased with the rogue result.
