The early tomato and cucumber seedlings are weak and weedy on the kitchen window sill, clinging to life. In the greenhouse, things are looking much better – mostly because these seeds where sown at the right time with the right conditions. These early peas will be transplanted in to the polytunnel and with luck, I will have a harvest in early May
The greenhouse bench is filling up but these will soon be outside, hardening off.
Outside, the roses and raspberries are putting out healthy buds and shoots
and happily I’m still harvesting carrots and swede. The swede are getting rounder too!
I used the last of the processed compost to mulch what will be the 2018 roots bed. Better get sieving again.
I really need to start sowing things!!
I know the urge is strong, but wait! According to my blog I didn’t sow anything until 29th February last year and I still had a harvest!
I know and I know I went too early last year but I am going to start my leeks and sweet peas off at the weekend at least!
Lovely update thank you for sharing Sharon blessing
