Fruit update

There’s a lot going on at the plot and I’ve not been paying much attention to the fruit trees and bushes.  The strawberries have had my full attention, but as it’s their first year the harvest is small enough to be scoffed at the plot.  Billy sometimes gets a look in!

Anyhow, the pears (Merton Pride in particular) are doing very well considering they were transplanted last October at age 6.

The new raspberry canes had a slow start but are making up for it now.  These are Joan J fruiting on old wood, so I may get two crops this year.

and finally, back in the polytunnel 🙂 the peaches are looking lovely although the leaves seem to be struggling again this year.  I think I need more micro-warriors.
