Seeds have become seedlings have become young plants and I’m running out of space.
I potted the cucumbers into new compost as they were looking increasingly unhappy and had stopped growing. The least happy plant has almost no root growth – I’m hoping a little bonemeal and a seaweed foliar feed will help.
There are many more seedlings waiting to be potted on. These are mostly flowers for the cutting patch.
There are probably more flowers than vegetables in the greenhouse: Cosmos, sunflowers and dahlias for the plot and geraniums for the tubs and baskets at home.
More tomatoes for the polytunnel – Sungold, Big Boy and Cristal and a tub of Nantes carrots.
It’s all looking and sounding good. xx
I’m having seedling envy!
We are in the process of experimenting with a small, home greenhouse… once I put it together. Our goal is to have it up by Fall for winter, early starts. We have had quite a good success with cold frames the past two years. — Oscar
Putting it together is the tricky bit! Growing is easy 🙂 Enjoy
