My efforts to have a more restrained and less jungly polytunnel are being ignored by the plants. The cucumbers and tomatoes are the main culprits. They seem to have almost shot out of their pots in the last week and appear to be making a bid for freedom – although their polytunnel accommodations are much nicer than the outside.
I’m growing Telegraph this year, thinking that would be better behaved than Carmen (seems not!)
Billy is particularly pleased with cucumber progress but a little confused that there aren’t at least two fruits per day (wait a few weeks!)

I’m particularly pleased with this cauliflower. I didn’t really believe that it would tolerate the temperatures in the tunnel. This has to be my best ever cauli in terms of colour. Spicy cauli salad on Friday.

What’s growing well for you?

That’s amazing! How you grew that cauliflower to such perfection is astonishing; I have never been able to get them to be more than a few dismal sprigs!! You should indeed feel proud 🙂
Thank you. I did nothing except keep it well watered
It’s all looking and sounding good. My onions and potatoes are doing well. xx
Your cucumber plants are amazing… I’ve never had any like that!
Thanks – they have surprised me too!
😊
