I hope everyone is well and enjoying the abundance of flowers in their garden. My vase features antirrhinum Potomac orange, blown over by the wind (as this gardener neglected to stake them) and growing at a 45 degree angle. After a few days in the vase, the tips will seek the vertical and give a candelabra effect!

Joining them is the last of the first flush chandos beauty rose, dahlia henriette and fillers are salvia clotted cream and new to me cosmos apricot lemonade.

I can’t decide if the cosmos is a keeper, it seems neither apricot or lemonade.
Do join Cathy to see her’s and everyone else’s vases this week.

What a lovely arrangement. Since the cosmos is an annual, might you not tolerate it for just this season? Loving the rose what a beauty.
I like the angle of the antirrhinum, Sharon, and it will certainly be an intriguing sight when it heads for the vertical instead! They set the rest of the blooms off so well, and you have a great combination of flowers with these warm tones. I agree about the cosmos and don’t think it is a variety I would choose! 😉
This vase is a keeper with all the orange, coral colors…love it!
Thanks Donna
Absolutely beautiful, Sharon! I can only dream of combining snapdragons and dahlias. The former are already long gone from my garden as they’re cool-season (spring) plants in my part of Southern California and my dahlias, warm-hot season plants, are only just forming their first buds.

Thanks Kris. That’s interesting, I’ve always considered snapdragons to be a summer annual. I think in the UK we have had our three days of summer🙄
Your flowers match and blend so perfectly, as if a watercolorist gently infused some gold into that dusty pink. Beautiful.
Thank you for your lovely comment. It’s all down to Mother Nature 🙂
And wonderful floral choices and arranging…
A stunning display 😍
